I have a plug in professional nail groomer so I was skeptical on this cordless rechargeable. Let me tell you my dog's nails are thick so I had a hard time keeping them short. Buying this item honestly helped my stress level worried about his discomfort went away. It's quiet but works so well. My Buddy is happy and so am I.

It's always been a fight cutting my dog's toenails. With this new Paw Pal tool, I am doing just 2 toenails a night to get her used to it. So far, so good The product is good and very quiet. I can't say that she loves it, but she's not fighting me much. And of course treats afterwards help! I am very happy with the tool! I've even done my cat's nails!

Was hesitant about wasting $$$ on this and eventually just bought it. OMG should have got ones years ago. I have tiny terrier and big border collie, both long black nails Each dog done in less than 10 minutes and they just lay there. The metal grinder is so good. I have 2 dogs with black nails and I am very nervous to use nail cutters. Being on a fixed income I can’t afford to bring them to a groomer every month. I took a leap and purchased this nail grinder. After letting it fully charge I used it on one of the dogs with great success. It was very quiet and there was virtually no vibration. I have already recommended it to two of my friends and I highly recommend it.

I bought a similar file from another company last year but it just wasn't strong enough to take much off my dogs nails. This one is really good...the files themselves seem to be coarser & the file itself is much quieter so it's easier to do his nails..he doesn't fight me as much! Recommend this one for sure!

Have used other nail grinders but they didn't have a strong enough motor for my greyhounds nails. This grinder is fantastic, it works a treat and her nails are now back to a good length for me to keep them there using it weekly. Not worried by the light or noise.

Silence is golden...or at least a hummm is. Especially when attempting to trim a grumpy 10 year old dachshund! Well I must say my dog Shadow fought me at first, as always, but the humming sound the spinning grinder made actually lulled him into a golden trance! He gave in and relaxed in my arms. I am delighted!

I love the way the nail trimmer works. There's nothing wrong with it at all. My dog just doesn't not like me trimming his nails. He still doesn't. The trimmer isn't too noisy, doesn't vibrate too much and is easy to use.

My dog absolutely hates to have her nails trimmed. She have had bad experiences at the vet with having them cut her nails too short and cutting into the quick, so that they bled. I decided it was easier and much less traumatic to do her nails at home. Some of her nails are black, and it's hard to see where the quick is. I bought a knockoff of these trimmers from another place. The head wore out very quickly, and I wasn't impress with the performance. I decided to buy the real deal from PawPal. These trimmers grind quickly and are much quieter. I am pleased with the performance. I also like that there is a light, making it easier to see what I'm doing.

Very quiet! My 4 dogs tolerated it so much better then clipping and I was not afraid that I would hurt them and cut nails t o short. I actually started taking my dogs to the vet to trim nails and now I can do it with the help from my husband. I am sure once they are use to the nail filing we will not need someone to help. Love that there are 3 areas that you can use to file as I have dogs from 5pds. To 100 pds. I really like this nail filer.

Like most new things with animals you have to familiarize them with things and this tool is very easy to that .The most important thing is not to stay on one nail to long because the friction heat,just move on and come back.Most of all don't forget to talk to your friend while doing so. :-)

Love this!! I have a 16 year old dog that doesn't let anyone touch his feet because of one bad clip that made him bleed. For the first time in years I trimmed his nails. I have a small rescue dog, skittish and unpredictable and with a personality like Napoleon. Have not been able to trim his nails myself until I got this product. He is not afraid or threatened by it. My boy hated going and getting his nails clipped especially since they have cut the quick causing pain and blood. I then bought a cheap nail grinder and he still hated it because it was so noisy. Now I have your pet grinder it's made both our lives easier. He still doesn't love me doing his nails but he will let me do it and that's the main thing. Thought that grinding my dogs nails myself, instead of the groomer doing it, may be a challenge but it was a breeze. I even helped out 2 of my neighbors with their dogs nails and had no problem. One of my better decisions when I purchased this nail grinder. Recommend that u order urself one and save some money by doing ur dogs nails urself.

So far, this trimmer is great for both my dog and my cat. Neither one gets defensive or agitated when I use it. Normally I have to pin down my cat to trim his nails, and I can't get anywhere near my dog with regular clippers. I am introducing both to the new trimmer slowly, but neither seems to mind very much at all. The grinder works quickly, and the light at the end makes everything so much easier! I definitely recommend this trimmer for both cats dogs.

My dog who dearly hates to have his nails cut sits quietly and allows me to grind his nails with only a slight action of "I don't think I want this." It is over so quickly and he is happy to get his treat afterwards. Mine came without the guard with the holes to put the nail in to grind it. I tried it without the guard and I like it better because I can see the pink vein better and know when to stop.

It came a little later then I anticipated. But with COVID I’m glad it came. My daughter used it on both our dogs and they were not scared. No shaking or no running away. They just sat there after we bribed one because he wanted food lol. It is a wonderful product. If you are debating in getting one just buy it!!! It is worth it for your piece of mind. I introduced Ash to the grinder by just scratching her nails with it whilst it was off and let her sniff it.

I was nicely surprised with the quality of this little trimmer. Fairly quiet, easy to use. Quickly trims long toenails. Grinding head is metal, not stone so it should last for a while. Your animal must get used to the "grinding" vibration however. Start off slowly, trim just a small amount of nail at a time. Do not try to grind away the whole nail at once. I will take this over clippers any day.
